How It Works:

The Spectre Box functions as a sound bank Ghost Box, comprising over 3000 audio clips sourced from various channels, including AM, FM, CB, CW, VHF, UHF, Morse code, as well as recordings from other Ghost Boxes and phonetic audio covering numerous languages. Some of these clips have been overlaid and echoed.

Each audio clip is limited to no more than one second in duration, which inherently restricts the formation of complete sentences. As such, any words that emerge through the app's interface are generally unrelated to the questions posed by users. This characteristic adds an intriguing dimension to the app, as it is believed that spirits manipulate electrical devices to communicate. Users may find that if a spirit wishes to establish contact, it can utilize the phonetic sounds present to construct words for coherent interaction.

The unpredictability of responses when questions are asked enhances the app's appeal; users may even receive replies in foreign languages due to its phonetic sound library.
